我終於做出家人都很喜歡的蘋果派^^!

若說chocolate chip cookies是老美的國民餅乾, 那蘋果派就是他們的國民派. 我們家的老大很喜歡蘋果派, 只可惜老媽子我不知試過多少做法, 沒有一次像這一次一樣不到三天就把整個9吋大的蘋果派給吃光光, 吃完後還一直問還有沒有. 
其實我很少做派, 原因跟之前posted的turnovers一樣: 多糖又多油, 對我而言不是很健康. 其實做這個派最主要是最近去聽了堂King Arthur Flour示範的課, 想趁記憶猶新之際, 趕緊練習一下. 沒想到大受歡迎, 重要的是雖然不營養, 但是全奶油製作, 完全不加任何的白油, 可是吃起來一點都不輸加了白油的派皮.

很高興在多年的尋尋覓覓後, 終於找到我理想中的派皮做法, 以後我再也不畏懼做派了:-)

  1. 見了胖貓的形容與說辭,使我忍不住也想取幾個家裡冰箱還剩著的兩顆大蘋果小試身手,不知胖貓是否願意將配方和作法傾囊相授?

  3. Looks good. I read ur article about keeping & closing the blog. I really enjoy your sharing. I feel exactly the same way (after twenty year of staying in the states, my English did not improve, my Chinese even worse). but you did a wonderful job.
    when the article is attrative, the rest (gramma, spelling..) is not important anymore. sharing my thought with you.

    Thank you for your encouragement. Keeping a blog is time consuming. If there is no any encouragement like yours eventually it will become a burden. Yap, I totally agree that long stay in states doesn't help much for English (At least it's true to me. And I have been here for over 20 years.) Thanks again. I'm reconsidering keeping this blog within my ability because this is the place which I met a lot of wonderful friends.

    您好, 派的食譜是英文的, 我是用scanner從recipe booklet上scanned下來的. 老美的食譜寫的非常仔細, 有很多細節, 可能不太容易懂. 至於日式麻糬食譜, 我的日本鄰居並沒有給我recipe (他的食譜是日文的), 我是看著他做, 然後寫筆記而已, 若你還是有興趣的話, 我改天看到鄰居時, 我可以向他要看看. 屆時我可以連同派皮食譜一同email給你.
